How do I install the system? (Duration: 10 minutes)
It is best to position the solar module horizontally on the roof of a motorhome or on the bow of your boat and run the two cables (+ & -) from the solar module to the charge controller (see image). Now connect the charge controller to the battery using two cables (+ & -) (see illustration). This completes the installation. Your battery will now be charged gently and sustainably when the sun shines.
The set includes:
- High-quality flexible solar module - 110 Watt peak output per hour (real 50-80 Watt) - Enough to charge a battery (e.g. 12V / 60 Ah) for 4-6 hours.
- 12V battery charge controller (converts the voltage from the solar module to suit the battery)
- 2x USB ports for charging smartphones etc. (2 USB charging ports can be used as an option)
- Cable for connecting the solar module to the charge controller
- Cable for connecting the charge controller to the battery
