NEO V 3.0 - Mini indoor garden case XL
The Bonsanto Growbox XL is a revolution in indoor growing: Compact, unobtrusive and quiet, it even fits into small flats. Despite its handy format, there is space for two plants - for double the harvest!
With a volume of 95 litres, it offers a fully-fledged indoor grow system including LED lamp, ventilation and accessories. The 3.2-litre pots and saucers supplied make it particularly easy to get started.

Unobtrusive design
The XL grow box is based on a hard-shell case with wheels. Easy to move and perfectly camouflaged thanks to its neutral design. Ideal for the bedroom, wardrobe or living area. Everything you need is included.
Ventilation & odour control
Thanks to a special system, negative pressure is created in the case - so no odours escape. The activated charcoal filter (replacement after ~6 months) can be changed without tools. A USB air circulation fan ensures healthy air circulation and prevents mould.
Can also be used for fermentation. You can find suitable ScrOG grids here.
Bonsanto LED
The Full Spectrum Bonsanto 70W lamp covers all growth phases. No lamp replacement, high efficiency and long service life (>100,000 hours). ∆Electricity consumption: only 9,58 €/month at 18 hours/day and € 0.35/kWh.
Safety & fire protection

I ordered the XL case as I don't fancy putting up tents or large structures and am otherwise more of an outdoor gardener. The little bit I need for the year fits in there 100%. You can put 2 planters in at the same time, but I only decided on one as it would otherwise be too compact for me. No odour, no problem, everything is easy. Daily time investment for watering/checking ~5 minutes.
Only the stability leaves something to be desired when the two pots are inside and you open the „door“. Then the pots tend to tip forwards and slip. Not so nice! But I'm also going to build something that supports the pots, acts as a coaster, has a fixed floor support and is screwed to the internal case frame. If this had been included right at the start, it would have been 5 stars.

The grow box has exceeded my expectations. It is well made and provides an ideal environment for growing my plants. It is also super practical that the most important things are already included in the scope of delivery.

Super grow box! I've had it for a few weeks and so far everything is working perfectly. I'm currently growing two plants and thanks to the activated charcoal filter you can't smell anything.

When I started looking for a grow box due to the partial legalisation in Germany, I came across the Bonsanto cases. I opted for the XL case with the 70W lamp and 2x 3.2 litre pots. I'm currently in the first run and my two plants are about 10 days old. I am really impressed by their rapid growth and am looking forward to the first harvest.
Despite my positive experiences, I came across numerous critical comments about the Bonsanto cases on the Internet. In particular, the small size and high price of the grow box were criticised. In this context, I would like to emphasise that the assessment strongly depends on the individual goals. If, like me, you don't fancy a large, unsightly tent in your flat and want to stay within legal limits, the case is a practical solution.
The price is undoubtedly high, especially if you only consider the hardware. Nevertheless, you should bear in mind that you are not only selling the hardware, but also an almost foolproof system. The investment is therefore worthwhile for those who value simplicity and discretion. However, Bonsanto could possibly work on the pricing to make the product more accessible to a wider target group.

The product is basically well thought out, but much of it is built in a cheap 3d printer. The fan (Max) is very loud and you are practically forced to buy the silver one. This one is very expensive for a bit of plastic and dimming. I will adjust my rating after the first grow

The case is great for families with little space. But unfortunately, with little space comes the negative features. The case unfortunately gets very warm inside with the 70 watt Bonsanto when the fans are only running on LO... in other words, to get below 33 degrees the activated carbon filter always has to run at maximum Hi when the lights are on and that is very loud. Alternatively, I would have to put the XL version of the case with the 70w Bonsanto lamp in the cool cellar. I don't think the price is a bargain either. Unfortunately only 3 out of 5 stars. I would have liked the lamp to produce less waste heat. Perhaps they could make some improvements here. Addendum. In the past, you probably also got free soil for the price of over €600. Unfortunately, this is no longer included. But it would be a great selling point.

I am looking for an option that is as inconspicuous as possible. The most important points for me are therefore quiet and odourless operation.
In general, I can only say that I expected a higher quality for the price! Everything makes a very cheap impression. The case is difficult to open and close. The zip will certainly not last very long. The fan is really loud without the silencer! The plants have not yet started to flower (they are growing well), but the case will certainly not be odourless either.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend the case and will definitely have to look for another solution or build something myself. What a pity! If it wasn't a gift, I would definitely send it back 🙁

HI Malika, we saw your review on Bonsanto.
We can take away a few of your worries in advance:
Odour: We can assure you that the case will not smell. Simply leave the zip open at the bottom so that fresh air can be sucked in. The „odourous“ air is sucked out at the top.
We can also assure you that the zip is of high quality and will not break so quickly. It is now even completely lightproof.
So your „negative“ predictions for the future (zip fastener / odour) have not yet been proven. Please wait and see 🙂
On the subject of volume, yes, the case is not quiet with Max. The M / L case would be the better choice with silent filters. But we also don't want you to get mould in the XL case.

Here is a brief summary:
Case XL with 70W LED, ballast outside the case.
Temperatures in the case are never higher than 31° despite the LED being up to 45° warm, the fans and the design ensure a stable temperature.
Two sockets are required for connection, one for the LED and another with a double USB charger to power both fans.
The case can be moved quickly even when in use thanks to its design and handles. Only the air outlet and cable on the case reveal that it is not clothes that are being transported on holiday but a small plant.
All in all, a perfect case for a mini-grow, I'm looking forward to the result.
It will be an RQS Amnesia Automatic, which has already gained good height after 2 days (since planting the seed).
