The MAX activated carbon filter is designed to complement our Silent fan with maximum power and efficiency. You can easily upgrade or replace the MAX filter. Like the SILENT, it is the smallest and most compact odor filter on the market. However, the Max activated carbon filter not only has a much more powerful fan. It also has a specially developed activated carbon and additionally a speed controller. The Max filter is useful, for example, if your plants are very "proliferating" and they produce an extremely strong odor. With the cases, the Silent Filter is usually completely sufficient. However, the Max Filter can be very useful especially with the Bonsanto Grow Tent (40x40x120), the 2 tier tent or Grow Tent (60x60x160). It will help you to get even extreme humidity problems under control. With the included speed controller, you are able to adjust the strength of the fans at any time. Maybe your plants don't need 100% power. In this case you can easily turn down the filter. Of course, with the Max Filter you have to compromise on the volume. Therefore, we recommend to operate the Max Filter in closed rooms.

I've had the activated charcoal filter for a few days now and am using it for my grow tent. I'm really impressed so far. Unfortunately, my previous filter didn't manage to completely neutralise the odours from my grow. So I really needed a new one! Fortunately, I no longer have that problem with this filter! The tent is in my hallway and you really can't smell anything. I have set the speed to around 70 %. The volume doesn't bother me either. Definitely a recommendation!

I had previously installed the Bonsanto activated carbon filter version. The MAX has significantly more power and I no longer have any problems with it in the tent.

It is quite easy to replace the activated carbon in the activated carbon filter. It is important to make sure that the mesh is positioned sensibly under the grid.

The MAX activated charcoal filter fulfils my expectations. Despite its compact size, its performance is simply incredible - it reliably eliminates odours and ensures pleasant air quality. I use it for my grow tent.

Despite the silencer and operation on 70%, the fan is clearly audible in the room. Below the 70%, the fan is quieter, but there is a constant beeping which corresponds to the volume at full power.

Hi Louis, thanks for your feedback. The beeping will no longer be present from 1 May with version 2 of the Max Filter dimmer (beeping in the low speed range is due to the dimmer). The new dimmer can also be purchased later. Conclusion: Nevertheless, a comparison must be made with a normal tube filter. The Max is also significantly quieter here. If you want it to be absolutely quiet, you should go for the Silent.

The product is very good and filters odours very well. However, I can't get my humidity out of the tent with the activated charcoal filter. I have it on full power and unfortunately still have over 70% humidity in the tent

Die angegebenen Lautstärken haben nichts mit der Realität zutun!
Der Filter ist sehr schwach und kann den Luftdurchsatz, den ein kleines 60x60x120 – Zelt erfordert, in keinster Weise realisieren.
Für mich ein klarer Fehlkauf.
Es gibt dennoch 2 Sterne, denn eine Sache haut doch hin: es ist kompakt.
